I don't in this draft, and certainly not for the Chiefs because, I mean, it's a need.

It's a 2027 need for the future and beyond for sure, but I just don't see it as being a need for this team right now.

If Francis Malinoa fell to nine, I mean, I would have a brief pause for sure because –

It certainly feels like, and from what I've seen of these guys, too, I feel like that Maui Noah is the only one that's a legitimate first-round pick.

Here's the thing.

I'm not sure that Maui Noah is any better than Josh Simmons.

I'm not sure that anybody in this year's draft is as good as Josh Simmons.

I'm not sure that there's anybody in this draft that's better than, like I said, any of the guys that were taken before Josh Simmons last year.

Last year's tackle draft was a lot better than I think than this one is.

This is just a really, really weak draft overall.

And yeah, getting, you know, the second best tackle in this draft is probably legitimately a, you know, you're going to say that it's a late first, early second.

And that's why I do feel, I feel differently about 29.

If the Chiefs went tackle at 29, it would make a lot more sense to me because I think that, you know, with all the question marks with some of these guys and some of the questions about production or size or, you

any of these issues i think it makes a lot more sense at 29 than it does at nine just because i think that this team's got a lot of needs and again you know you've got immediate needs i feel like at corner i think you've got immediate needs at edge rusher you've got a 2027 need for sure at tackle and there's no guarantee you're going to be able to address it next year but

I feel a lot better about the offensive line situation than I do about some of their other position groups at premium spots.

I mean, that's the thing is that you can't be going into free agency in some years with the idea that you need to be able to get two or three or four starters in free agency because with the way that your roster is stacked right now,

you just can't afford that.

And, you know, and they've got a lot of things to figure out.

I mean, if they want this team to be what they want it to be, I mean, this offense is still built a lot around Travis Kelsey and you don't have the, the heir apparent that the Travis Kelsey in place, you don't know what this offense is going to look like without him.
