And so, you know, I wasn't willing to sell everything right out of the gate without vetting the idea.
So we had benchmarks that we established in order to, to judge future spends.
And, you know, we did our, our first design sketches online and we got a really great response from it, which was,
Then I was willing to invest four or five grand into developing prototypes and tooling.
And then we got our first samples and then we took some photos of it.
And then we started selling product and I sold about 2000 of them on the first month that we released.
How'd you sell them?
Uh, we sold them online just on our own website and we built a go daddy website and really simple and, and,
And clean and using Andrea Lake's advice is the simple, ugly sites are the ones that convert.
And so we had a simple, ugly site with a picture of our product that we sold.
And we told people it was going to preorder and deliver in July.
And people liked the idea and they bought it.
So how did you get people to the site?
We contacted virtually every media person we knew in the military and tactical world.
So there's some very famous blogs, soldiersystems.net, BreachBank, Clear, and a few other ones.
And between those, they had roughly 24 to 25 million unique views.
And so we ran a couple of features on those and we were able to drive enough people to our website to place pre-orders.
Correct.
Yeah, we've been very strong in balancing sales, public relations and social media.
And if you're a small business owner, you just really have to understand the math game.
