Mm-hmm.
building on the data sets that have been aggregated for administrative data.
You know, fundamentally clinical data and administrative data should converge.
There's a lot of data that's being gathered to support administrative functions, which has value in the clinical intervention roadmap as well.
And, you know, pushing forward the sector
really through the rule set and through regulatory frameworks, will unlock that value.
And that'll be a key step towards building out a system that is more outcomes-based.
So fundamentally, the administrative burden
that we're currently dealing with the US healthcare system, it has three big consequences.
Number one, there's an extreme amount of cost associated with that burden.
Number two, we're not meeting the outcomes goals that we should be.
Number three, if we can invest in more streamlined administrative efficiency, not only will we be able to take costs out, we're going to drive better outcomes.
And what will ultimately happen is the industry should be able to speed up.
One of the things that's happening is that the inefficiency is causing processes to take a long time.
If we can leverage technology to speed up payment, by example, costs will come out and we'll be able to move the system from break-fix reactive to more preventative.
So the real-time payments...
industry contract not only creates administrative efficiency, takes costs out, but it allows the market to be more preventative in nature.
The system is all interconnected.
A lot of what we talked about with Aspect2, the providers and the payers, ultimately, if we can build an information technology system and framework that enables real-time payment, enables a reduction of administrative burden, there is a tremendous amount of data and information that can be gathered and managed.
A segment of the industry that
