They will give Invincible a good shot.
So I'm curious to see where that lands in the competitive landscape.
I came into this game kind of skeptical.
And I ended up finding a lot in this game to like.
And I think that anyone who has a real interest in games with choice in the narrative and also this sort of asynchronous multiplayer, there's a lot in it.
It's not a perfect game, but I think there's a lot done here that is worthy of attention.
especially for game devs.
You mentioned the asynchronous multiplayer.
So basically when you start up a game, you choose a player to follow throughout the game, a real-life person.
And it can be a rando.
Or there is a way to look up a specific player.
You can give a code to your friend and they can follow you.
So you're essentially going through the whole story following...
the person who came before you, you're a tide walker, which is someone who can sense these sort of echoes of what happened before with previous tide walkers.
So you're following them around and they managed to kind of write the story in a way that, yeah, you're following their footsteps, but some things are different now.

So it doesn't feel like a complete retread of what they've done.
And you have the ability to make your own decisions and do things completely off the path of the previous player.
You can even at some point pivot to following an entirely different person if you don't want to go in the direction that they did.
But the game does all these little things that are pretty interesting like
