Yeah, can't blame the cave.

Yeah, I think it's a relaxing, nostalgic, feel-good kind of game that I definitely don't regret playing.

I enjoyed it.

But, you know, there's some voice work in here that people are just going to cringe at.

And if you're susceptible...

to high-pitched fairies telling you what to do in a dungeon, then this ain't for you at all.

But I feel like you know if this game is for you or not.

And if you are a Square Enix fan with a lot of nostalgia for this kind of thing and you like that 2D overhead Zelda gameplay, I can definitely recommend it to you.

But I don't think that people from outside of that wheelhouse are going to hop into this and come out a changed person

Well, I think it just doesn't have the story that Octopath has.

I think that's the main thing.

And then again, some of that backtracking can be a little bit annoying across the ages.

But again, there's a lot of stuff to find in this map.

There's secrets to uncover.

There's really cool weapons and modifiers and the way you kind of make your build and can switch between things on the fly.

Like the combat, the bosses are great.

There really is a lot to like here.
