Yeah, it's huge.
I think the kind of promptness they've shown in regards to supporting the NHS was a credit to players.
And I'm sure they'll kind of have a similar approach to this scenario.
But for me, we need to kind of look at the whole movement.
And it's not just about...
the hate crimes that happen or only representing black players.
It's to represent all players of colour when they feel victimised to racism.
We're all aware of the Jonathan Lecko situation that happened most recently, but Mark McCammon at Gillingham, what he went through, no one's really aware of that.
And that's the kind of thing that needs to change.
Talking on my personal experience involved in a racial issue during my time at Everton, I went to the committee board and
I was kind of outnumbered in regards to being the only person of colour in the room.
And that can't be right.
We can't have racial issues and been asking people to determine the outcome of them issues, having not experienced anything like that in their lives.
And for me, that doesn't seem like the right way to go about it.
And I'm not saying the change should happen over the coming years.
I think it's a pretty reasonable ask for that to be in place within the next, well, hopefully within the next season.
Yeah, definitely.
And again, it doesn't have to be solely one race or anything.
It just has to be definitely a generational gap has to be looked at as well because the people that are making the decisions and the language that is used and the terminology that is used probably use this language in their younger lifetime.
So they can't understand how offensive it can be to people of colour.
