I'm not saying we have to employ black people in every role, but I think if you kind of eradicate
the kind of discrimination that goes on in the process of interviewing people.
So, for instance, if a job is there, obviously there's certain criteria or qualifications needed for that role.
I think if that's kind of publicised to everyone, then people apply for that and then you take away the names and kind of that eradicates the discrimination.
So then the people that are employing them roles are indicating from the criteria and not necessarily from a perception point of view.
There's loads of work to be done.
I do feel this is the most positive I've felt about this change.
But do I think it will become in my lifetime?
No.
I think in regards to racism, are we going to eradicate all racism?
No.
I think that's an unrealistic goal for me to think that there'll be no racism in football in my lifetime, possibly in my kids' lifetime.
I'm just hoping there's progression.
We've come some distance up until now, over the last 20, 30 years.
Not everyone will agree with that, but I'm hoping over the next 20, 30 years, there's more progression.
And that's the key.
Again, it's an unrealistic ask, in my opinion, to think that Erasin will be eradicated from football in the next 20 years.
Is it not heard or has it not been documented?
Sorry, Alan.
I don't think it's not been happening, I think.
