I think there is a genuine desire for him to be great.
I do worry about what happens to him if he's not.

So let's say that Pete's around $20 to $23 a year on his deal.

So Texas, a couple of them have brought up the idea, and I think it's good one.
If he's if the floor is Jason Hayward, you know, like if he's a guy that hits 20 bombs, but he plays excellent defense.
We don't have the whole contract yet, by the way.
But if we're saying that it's 21, 22 a year and he ends up being Jason Hayward, I think you're probably fine.
with it because of the way that finances in baseball are going.
But you'd love to see him play closer to the top of his potential.
