I'm actually calling you, talking to you from Beverly Hills, California.
Rockets and Lakers tomorrow night for game one of the playoff series.
You know, when you have Luka Doncic, you know, one of the top three scorers in the NBA, Austin Reeves scoring north of 20 points most nights.
You're asking LeBron James at 41 years of age to go from the third wheel to the main guy.
And while he probably can do that for one or two games, I'd be stunned if he could do it for over a five, six, seven game stretch.
So needless to say, I think the Rockets would like to really take advantage of things early and not even think about Luka and or Austin maybe playing later in the series.
Well, when you don't have your point guard all year long in Fred VanVleet, that hurt.
One of the best offensive rebounders maybe in the history of the sport.
Steven Adams has also missed a lot of time, too.
So those two guys are not a part of the package.
You know, when you obviously make the Kevin Durant trade, you want to win a championship.
So needless to say, it would be normally championship or bust.
And I think there's a window of two or three years to really try to do that with KD.
But the reality is this, and you talk to any logically thinking NBA fan, it's been Oklahoma City and San Antonio in the West this year, one, two, and it's been everybody else at distant thirds.
So it would be a surprise no matter who came out of this series against Oklahoma City because they're playing so well right now.
Selfishly, as a voice of the Rockets, I would like for the Rockets to pull off a major upset if they get to that spot, but I don't think anybody in America would really think they'd have much of a chance.
