So that's what happened.

Here she is expressing her frustration about all this.
Well, when she's right, she's right.
So the argument that has been made against releasing these files
And AOC put out a long tweet because she voted against it.
She didn't want to release it.
And she was making the argument in a very wordy way.
And basically the argument is that, well, first of all, that it would expose the victims.
Now, the bill would have redacted, or this measure would have redacted the names of the victims.
So they would have redacted it.
But the argument was that, well, they're going to redact it, but it still might expose victims.
And also, a lot of the claims are unsubstantiated.
So innocent people might end up being implicated.
There are plenty of cases of somebody falsely accusing someone of sexual harassment.
And if they were to release everything, then it would have the effect of implicating people who are innocent.
So you'd implicate the innocent and the guilty at the same time.
That's the argument against it.
And that argument in this case prevailed.
