So as to not get in trouble for drinking and driving. He should have gotten home and the very first thing he should have done was call 911. And say, hey, I just found my girlfriend's car. She's not in it. It's backed into a house and the lights were blinking. Or at the very least, you come across and you go, that's pretty messed up.

I should leave those lights on so that somebody does the right thing and calls the authorities. Now, it's definitely unfortunate that a whole bunch of other people drove past and didn't call the cops. But... That's neither here nor there. The big one is James to me. In my head, there is no way in which James is not involved in this.

And that's why I'm having trouble, I think, with the Brian Rooney aspect. Yeah, he could have been involved. There was talk of an older man, but from what I understand, nobody ever pointed to Brian Rooney. So why are we saying it was him? I think maybe Overacker knows more than he's let on. Maybe I just need to sit down with the guy, but I don't know. I can't get past James.

I do agree that given the scenario, that makes a lot of sense that he would be involved. It almost makes no sense for him to not be involved in some way.
