I'm like, man, this is unbelievable.
So I kind of tracked the case a little bit.
I ultimately retire.
And right before I retired, I started seeing him all over Instagram.
I started seeing his artwork.
Well, what had happened was, is he evidently, much like yourself, was a gifted artist.
And all of a sudden, while he was in prison, he started taking these art classes.
And he didn't want to paint the roses.
He didn't want to paint certain things like that.
He wanted to paint money.
I think the people in prison were like, ah, you're in here for counterfeiting.
We don't know if this is a good idea.
But what he would do is he'd do these one-offs.
He'd do like an 1896 $1 bill, which the old notes are very beautiful.
Or he would incorporate other people's faces like the Queen of England or Madonna or things like that inside the dollar bill.
Yeah, if it's a novelty note, things like that.
Yeah, I think his first one he did might have been, I don't know, a huge canvas.
It took him about a year and a half.
It was the 1896 note.
And I think he did maybe 19 or so works in prison, and he kind of just squirreled them away.
