Our gut instincts are awful, though, in personal and professional relationships.
And that's a lot of times when detectives come involved, they get very front site focused on, I think this person did it, or something's not right with this person.
And then all of a sudden, everything starts focusing on the investigation on that one person and they start limiting.
So I was working a biker case and there was a missing female and we had a one percenter and we had a hang around.
So anybody of your listeners that know anything about bike gangs, the one percenters are, it goes back to a term in the forties and fifties, you know, a one percenter will do, you know, they're the bad guys and 99% of bikers do the right things.
And this one percenter, the ATF people that were working this case said, this guy's killed people.
He's a bad guy.
That was about 6'3", 6'4", 240.
He just looked like, you know, if you were making a movie and you needed a villain, typecast, right?
And then this hang around was like 5'6", 120 pounds, dripping wet.
He looked like an accountant, okay?
He didn't even have a bike.
I mean, he truly wanted to be in this gang.
Well, they were both dating this female, so they were both the suspects.
When they ping her phone, it's in like the middle of the Missouri River, right?
Not a good sign.
All right.
So they say, who are you going to test first?
And I was like, well, I'll test the hang around because you're saying that you don't think he had any involvement, but maybe he saw it.
So it's one of those things where test him, and on the participate question, he had problems.
