He goes to trial representing himself.
Always a good idea, right, being your own lawyer, right?
It's a bad idea.
Yeah.
And he gets found guilty.
So what we have here is there's two victims.
The city of Philadelphia, who were being kind of ripped off from their โ
property taxes that they were supposed to be getting by this thing.
Then we have 11 homeowners who either lost their homes or were in danger of losing their homes.
The losses, though, are kind of low.
So we have a $150,000 loss to the city of Philadelphia because the government is using the fraud loss of the unpaid property taxes as that.
After the dust settled and the smoke cleared,
with the values of the homes eventually being restored to the homeowners after a long legal fight that they had to do on their own, $30,000 is their loss.
Okay.
So the net, the aggregate loss of these two things is $180,000.
But then you have McAngelo kind of orchestrating this giant scheme, going to trial, losing, probably irritating the hell out of the trial judge representing himself because the judges don't like that.
Right.
Right.
So given all that, and there's a lot of moving parts here, how much time are you going to give McAngelo Tillman, Matt Cox?
Yes, right.
