It's this very interesting time period where, believe it or not, Christianity was actually mostly based on Hermeticism.
That might shock some people listening to this right now.
But let me explain.
Because Hermeticism was considered older than the teachings of Moses, it was the bar.
It was what we use to understand everything.
Well, unfortunately, when Constantinople fell, you see this rapid rise of the Christian church through the Holy Roman Empire.
That entire group of mystic and minds and hermeticism, people that studied that from Greece to Western Turkey, this whole area of the world, because Constantinople was like a center of the ancient world.
All of those people, all of those groups, this is going to be fascinating for people that study history or understand this.
This might open up a lot of understandings for a lot of people right now.
All those people, hundreds and hundreds if not thousands, we don't know the exact number, they all migrated somewhere.
they all left because it was no longer a place that that could be tolerated because Christianity was rising from that area, right?
Turkey is where the Holy Roman Empire rose.
Of course not.
So what happens?
This is really important for history for us to understand so that we never let it happen again, Matt, okay?
This whole group of mystic minds and Hermeticism students, they all go to one single location in Europe, Florence, Italy.
This is the mid-1400s, 15th century.
So you add 100 years when you say that.
So 1400s, mid-1400s, Florence, Italy becomes the center of Hermeticism in the world.
And Da Vinci comes out of it through secret societies and all of these poets and philosophers, and they build all these incredible architecture temples because they have all this embedded.
