We didn't realize that 2003 was just the beginning of the kind of financial boom.
So 2003 to 2007, 2008, I suppose, were these like crazy bubble years.
And we had no idea.
idea, but things have begun to happen in London.
Gagosian had moved here, Sprut had moved here, Tate Modern had opened.
And yeah, we went to see the galleries and Amanda was living in New York at the time.
Yeah, I mean, we can talk about Amanda and Tom as well.
I keep, you've done all the talking about them, but you know, we were at college together.
We were, we started Freeze together with Tom and we've been working together for, yeah, the whole time.
And Amanda's more on the sales side.
I'm more on the organizational side.
She was living in New York.
And she went to see the New York galleries and I went to see London galleries.
And the New York galleries all said, yeah, we'd love to do a fair in London.
And the London galleries, some of them were very positive.
And some of them said, you're never going to get the big galleries to come.
It's not going to work.
But we already had the big galleries.
We already knew that the American galleries wanted to do it.
