Because, again, I can understand not doing Newfoundland, but Labrador was close. And maybe they really did. And the thing is, if the sagas are accurate in the extent that, like, they describe the casualties accurately, they weren't losing many men at all. Like, compared to the casualty rate of just living in Greenland from cold and starvation and sickness... the Vinland colony did well.

That's why I got frustrated towards the end of the video. I was like, can somebody just fund this? Because it is so odd to look at all of it and come to the conclusion that they set up this one colony really far south and didn't set up anything in between. That does not make sense. I mean, when you look at the Norse history, they get to England and what do they do? They immediately set up.
