And I know a lot of people cook broccoli.
Real simple tip that my mum taught me years and years ago is if you, because it's got like such a foliage, the foliage cooks quicker than the stem.
The easiest way to cook the stem through.

put a cross through it.
So go through with a knife, go down the stem a bit, and then do it the other way.
And then it just frees it up, the stem, so it'll cook at the same rate.
Cut the stem, and then it should all cook about the same rate as what the foliage will cook, and you'll have perfect broccoli every time, no matter where you're frying it, whatever you do.
