They know what it's like to perform to people that have no interest in you whatsoever.
Like you have to win a crowd over.
If you just open it up for another artist and all the people there are just waiting to see the artist that they actually came to see.
And now you're just staring at a bunch of people like this.
and you got to win them over, that's really fucking tough.
When you go past the comedy club and the comic is outside trying to get people to come inside to watch their set, that grind, that comedy club grind, comedians don't get enough credit for that because I don't think that will ever change.
yeah like social media or not I don't think that will ever change with comics like they're gonna forever have to do that like stand outside the comedy club you gotta get 10 people to come in here and like sit in here and wait for you to go on stage and then they will give you 2 minutes at 2am not exactly though because you have the the Drewskis and the Monas and they didn't have to do that shit they got famous yeah but those are not they're not stand up comics though they're just funny content creators
I'm talking about like a stand-up comedian.
Yeah, like that grind, I don't think that ever changes.
And like Eddie Murphy is probably done with a lot of these comics, is still currently doing.
Chappelle has done with a lot of these comics, are still currently doing at the Comedy Cellar and all of those spots downtown.
