It's the level of coverage and attention that it's getting.
from politicians and from indeed the media generally, whereas I would have thought top of the line and what, you know, and it's not a criticism of you or your programme, but, you know, why is there not outrage about what's going on in the health services?
Why is it that that woman that was nearly in tears in the committee today, why was that not given proper coverage and why is that not the topic of conversation today?
Because I find that deeply distressing and worrying.
It was an RT1 news today and I just happened to hear it.
So anyway, listen, that's mainly my point is just the disproportion.
Now, and I go back, and this is where my sort of questioning of the political system, it's a very useful distraction, probably more so when it happened in August in 2023 when there was other stuff going on for the government.
And it just was very, very striking at the time how the government and everybody was on the same bailiwick and, you know,
fire in the dark at Dee Forbes and everybody at Decoud and RTE and, you know, it makes me wonder what else is going on that they're able to... That's why I describe it as a distraction.
Not to say that there aren't valid questions to be asked, but it doesn't deserve the level of coverage.
I have been picking up bits and pieces on the news from time to time.
I haven't been listening in in detail to any of it.
One, you know, in a similar situation like this, where RT made decisions that were, rightly or wrongly, they made the decisions, right at the time, right?
And the second one is, why did it take so long to get this information out?
over something that was going back over a period of years.
Why did nobody spot that we had this presenter who, okay, he's also a producer.
