He was in decline.
And then suddenly he goes to Toronto and back to back pitching triple crowds or whatever.
That probably gets it.
And who knows what he was doing?
I think with longevity and everything Clemens deserves to be in.
McGuire is an absolute no.
Sosa is an absolute no, because I can show you, I don't have to go through it now in their record where they, they fundamentally became a different player at a certain point.
See, I would put all these guys in.
Fundamentally, McGuire and Sosa, when you look at what they had done in their career, how it was trending, the kind of player they were, were not Hall of Famers.
And then they suddenly became first ballot Hall of Famers.
That's fair.
Bonds was already, let's say, a 440 on base, 650 slugging guy.
Piazza in his minor league career, I don't think ever slugged 500.
And then eventually he was playing catcher for 140 plus games a year and hitting 40 home runs and hitting three, whatever.
And his on base was in the over 400 is slugging over 600.
You can do with Piazza what you want.
But like... But I just want to... Just like with Otani...
or with Boggs, no, he's not usually at 330.
He's at 360.
There is a difference to, to say when bonds was a mid 400 on base, mid 600 slugging guy.
