And, you know, John, Jason, the entire dev team, they do such a great job with all of that at the site that I think it's a really indispensable resource for fans.
I think that in terms of the app, the way that I envision it best being used is I want someone who's sitting at a game live to be able to look up anything that they might be curious about, about the action that's unfolding in front of them.
So I think that if you're at a game and a prospect just got called up and you don't know something about him, being able to navigate over to the board and see where he sits in the system, being able to go to his player page in the app, pull up the report,
that Eric or Brendan or James has written and get a sense of that player, sort of what his trajectory is going to be, the kind of hitter he is, what his mix is if he's a pitcher.
I want, you know, I want it to be a supplement to the game experience when you have curiosity that you might not be able to satisfy by looking up the scoreboard.
Although these days, you know, you might see our war up there, right?
You might see advanced stats, but
I think that it can be a really helpful supplement to people if they're at a game.
And then, of course, the optimal use of it is you're at a bar with your friends and you have to settle a question, right?
You have to win a debate.
What better way to do that than to be able to look up information about players at fan graphs and have it in a nice...
you know, mobile optimized format.
So I think that, you know, what the dev team is always trying to do is, one, just make the base experience of the site better for people, make it easy to navigate to the information that they're curious about, have it displayed in a way that is sort of intuitive and sensical.
We're always trying to sort of strike this balance between bringing as much information to bear to our readers as we can, but also being mindful of the fact that there is so much data available
that it can be really helpful to have a friendly user interface, to have that data presented to you in a way that actually makes it useful and legible, because we have a real range of expertise and sort of comfort with all of the stats we have.
And there's more and more information coming out
with each passing year, right?
Being able to look at bat tracking information.
Imagine that a couple of years ago, right?
So I think that we're always trying to make sure that that information is not only available but legible, and that that's a guiding principle for the dev team.
