Und diese Organisation, die Q runs, heißt Q-Branch. Und so haben wir den Namen für unsere Organisation genommen. Die Organisation existierte bereits. Sie hieß Sales Support Engineering. Ein sehr sexierter Name. Und so haben wir uns entschieden, etwas etwas mehr zu ermutigen. A more shiny surface. A much shinier surface. And it did a couple of things.

It was actually really fun because it gave us some branding language. So for the first couple of years of QBranch, we got to do some, you know, I always had like an Aston Martin in my slides because James Bond drives an Aston Martin or we'd have sort of spy themed stuff.

Oh, die SE for sure, right? And I think that's one of the reasons it worked. Because SEs, you know, they're at the pointy end of the sales cycle. They're out in front of the customers. They're the agents out in the field. I mean, even the terminology in sales is the same as with Spycraft. So the SEs are out there. They're exposed. They're dealing with competitors. They're dealing with customers.

They weren't explicitly part of the internal customer group. Aber eines der Dinge, die ich über die Jahre gelernt habe, ist, dass Demos absolut alles anfangen. Also gab es AEs, Account-Executives, die Demos machten, besonders in der kleinen bis mittleren Business-Area, weil Lösungs- und Ingenieur-Ressourcen niedrig sind. Also mussten sie ihre eigenen Demos machen.
