And I get it. We're myopic. And especially in sales. Sales attracts narcissists, and I'm one of them, right? It attracts people who are deadline-driven and who are driven by the attention and possibly the money. And SEs are a step away from a direct salesperson, but they're still very much in the game. So I get it. My deal is the most important deal. It always will be.

And so sometimes you just need some coaching. And I like to think of it that way. There's pushback, but there's also like, hey, we'll do it this time for you. But next time you really need to give us more warning. And, you know, as these are smart people, they'll figure out, I'm not going to get any more favors from this organization unless I play by their rules.
