They put it in the truck.
And I was sitting there saying, I can't believe I haven't done this before.
It's so easy.
Get in the truck, off to L.A., and we're moving to West Hollywood.
And we get to our apartment.
Everything's going smoothly.
And by about 5 p.m., everything's done.
They're completely unloaded.
I'm upstairs unpacking already.
I happen to be unpacking linens.
I remember this very clearly.
The screen door was open.
I heard a scream and I was like, oh, that doesn't sound good.
I run out to the balcony to check it out and I lean over and I can't really see much, but I can see one of the guys is laying on the ground.
One of the movers?
One of the movers, yeah.
And so his two coworkers are standing over him and I look a little closer.
He's clearly writhing in pain.
I can't tell what happened, but there's blood in the ground.
So I say, okay, not good.
