They would call and get a comment from you or from someone or they would check it and they would do their own reporting and then they would write something.

They wouldn't just copy someone else.

So it's very lazy, lazy reporters now, very lazy news organizations.

And I'm glad you stood up for yourself and I'm glad that I have to do it.

By the way, you would do the same thing, D Lemonade.

I wish I had done more of that, Michael, when I was going through what I went through at CNN and when people were writing things about me that were just not true.

But I was under contract and I could not respond.

And so maybe that will change.

And I think it will once I'm not under contract.

Listen, I've had people even here on Substack make claims about me.

How many times have I turned around and said I have no clue?

I was unaffiliated, for example, with the Katie Johnson matter.

I wasn't aware of it until I read about it in the papers like everybody else.

That was being handled by somebody else.

It was being handled by Alan Garten at the Trump Organization.

I wasn't involved with it.

But people want to say things about you.

And you know what we do?

We fight on.

We just keep fighting on until such time, right, as the truth.
