But if you have to compete and or cut weight in the luteal phase, there's extra preparation.
I think that needs to be accounted for.
So you may need to try to diet and get your weight a little bit lower.
You may need more time to prepare for something like that.

If you're like, oh man, okay, if it's got to be this day, like I need at least three months because I don't want to be on too strict of a calorie deficit.
Otherwise hormones start to shut down.
I've experienced this multiple times where I've dipped into amenorrhea.
So I like completely lost my cycle.

I mean, you're exhausted in a fight camp anyways, but hormonally, very flat.
I guess it's the ways you just feel extremely like, bleh.
