I didn't have anyone that I felt like would understand exactly what I was going through.

I basically realized I was very good at disassociating anything that came from my childhood.
My parents fought a lot.
And I love my parents.
It's never a bash session on them.
I don't really believe in that because I know that my parents did the best that they could with the skills and the tools that they had.
But I read three of Dr. Gabor Mate's books.
And it was life-changing for me.
I was like, oh, wow, this is what trauma can do.
And he's the one that says, you know, 80% of... Gave the statistics, 80% of autoimmune diseases exist in women.
