Yeah.

I'm not hurt at all, but I'm losing rounds.

So we're thinking it's three to one round.

Technically, it was three to two.

Okay.

But either way, in the fifth round, it's a do or die round.

All the things that we had gone into that first round or the whole fight conceptually was like, hey, let's be smart and let's get the right timing and let's not get knocked out trying to pursue a takedown.

So...

I'm in the fifth round and we're basically like, we got to throw it all to the wind.

We got to throw all the caution.

I was like, I realized that in my mind that if I wanted to become a world champion, I had to be okay with getting knocked out.

I had to be okay with the most brutal, difficult loss of my life on the major platform of, you know, Conor McGregor versus Nate Diaz, you know, all eyeballs on.

That's going to be seen by millions of people.

I had to be okay with like the worst outcome.

Yeah.

In order to get, have a chance.

How did you accept that or flip that switch?

I think I just knew it and I was willing to do it.

I was willing to do it.

You know, I really, every time that I've stepped into the octagon have been willing to essentially pay the ultimate sacrifice.
