The Continental Congress was a bunch of rich, powerful people who were saying, no, we're sorry, we're doing something new now.

And so that's my defense of the American Revolution is a little bit different.

It ain't what I-330 is doing.

Yes, because think of, one, by the time he gets his lobotomy, his imagination surgery, he wants to get rid of his imagination.

He's not being strapped down to a gurney exactly.

And then you think of all these parallels with our modern, liberal, enlightened society.

How many people, especially women, but men too,

But then what about, obviously, it's very tempting to read this as just liberalism versus totalitarianism, or probably the way to read it in the 20th century is liberal Western democracy versus communist tyranny.

But what about the classical conservative critique of this, which is, yeah, we do strive for happiness.
