I think he's moving better now than I've seen him since, you know,
early 21, 22.
So I'm excited.
I'm going to go work with him today.
We're going to do some alpha work and some base running and kind of waiting on the right place, the right time, no rush, because there's going to be plenty of shooters as, as, as it kind of opens up in the game show.
But yeah, he's, he's just kind of by his time and trying to figure out where do I fit best and,
with all the teams that are calling and are focused on trying to you know win which that's where he's at.
Yeah he's very capable and I think too we don't talk enough about how hard DHing is you're you're stopping and going and
Being able to lubricate those joints, get sweaty, and do those things, even if it's once or twice a week, it makes your body respond differently.
Last year, he felt better.
He was doing a little bit more work out there and stayed more sharp.
He obviously didn't play much out there, but it was his healthiest season over the last couple of years.
we both believe that it'd be better for him.
And it also helps the team lengthen the roster.
If he can play all three outfield positions, obviously center field would be in a pinch, but he's capable because he understands himself better than ever.
I think that's the one thing that we don't talk enough about the Santana's, the catches, these older guys, the hedges that have, you know, playing into the late thirties, these guys know themselves.
So they can do things that younger guys can't because they're,
they're great self-evaluators and they're willing to adapt on the fly.
And I think it's a benefit for any team to sign a veteran that's still capable because you're going to get nuggets that you could never get from a 23, 24-year-old because they've never had a knee surgery.
They never had a bad hip.
