I tore up my knee this off season, catching bullpens.
So really I'm on the mend to say the least.
appreciate it i try i try i could do a lot better but uh it's tough once you leave the game you start sitting all the time as you know it is not easy having a job that you have to sit you don't move much well listen i think i was just talking to somebody about this maybe three weeks ago or so i can't remember where but it was about catchers
Yeah, I mean, for me, I think it has to do with genetics on both sides.
I had some genetical issues when it comes to my knees at two tilted meniscus.
So I've been lucky.
I had a repair.
It's my third one.
Usually after 40, you do not have a repair of your meniscus.
They were able to get the tissue.
It was really clean.
It was healthy and repair it.
So that means I'm not going to have to have a knee replacement at 45, which is very nice to know.
But yeah, I think it's just kind of luck of the draw.
I do everything I can to take care of my body.
But at the end of the day, you can't really fight genetics.
You can't fight father time.
But yeah, I would not have chosen any other position.
I think the ones that go behind the plate that don't really want it, those are the ones that really get hurt and can't walk later on in life.
If you love it, you'll figure it out.
