Um...
I'm going to give the most political answer I'll probably ever give on this show is I could see it either way.
And the reason is, I'm going to use Big Amish as an example.
Out in Oakland last year, or Sacramento, excuse me, a guy went to rookie year, hits 36 home runs, and he spent a month in AAA and just went off.
And that...
takes away the super two, everything else.
So like, you can't use that argument.
Um, on the other end, if you do bring them up, he does win rookie of the year.
It's a benefit to the pirates, uh, immediately.
So I could see them wanting to protect him because if he does come up and start slow, uh, he's never really failed.
And that's the one thing that's the bugaboo of like, you got to fail at some point where it's going to be.
I don't know.
And if it happens, I'm not sure.
Maybe he fails playing tic-tac-toe, but not on the baseball field.
But this guy's special.
There's no doubt in my mind, guys, that if he's on a baseball field, he stands out.
He's the best shortstop in camp.
He's one of the best players in camp.
So the decision is really going to be more about a mental capacity than it is about his physical well-being or if he can do it.
Because I think everybody can see immediately this kid can do it and he can make an impact tomorrow.
