That's the biggest thing for Henry Davis.
Can he take his head, put it on the coat rack and go out there and play free?
And I think he can if he focuses all his energy on that staff.
And then when he goes in the box, realize that's a plus.
Because at the end of the day, if he's a 220 hitter with the power he's got, he's going to be talked about as one of the better catchers in all of baseball, especially in the National League.
He just doesn't need to put the pressure on himself.
This guy cares more than probably anybody on the team, maybe even to his detriment.
He's got to figure out a way to balance that.
Yes, because of innings.
The total number of innings these guys have thrown is not enough.
So they're going to have to get creative.
They're going to have to use the older guys to figure out how to balance it.
And you're going to see piggybacks.
You're going to see bullpen days.
You're going to see a lot of creativity throughout the season to protect these guys going into August and September and hopefully into October because they don't have that any pedigree and you need it.
I mean, most of these guys have not touched 130 innings in a season.
They've been protected.
Now, how they protect it is the gravest concern on this team for me.
If they have low volume days or if they kind of go off field, right?
They go ahead and say, this guy's got four innings, but he has a good four innings.
