King, John Cougar Mellencamp, Dolly Parton, Bo Cephas.

My dad said this, he goes, I don't really understand what you kids listen to and what that's about, but if you're going to get into music, I want you to know where it came from.

Your mom does a real good job telling you about the Beatles and the Doors and stuff, but I'm going to take you to Ray Charles.

And you're going to get older and you're going to say, I saw Ray Charles.

And you're going to be able to explain because you love music and you're going to get goosebumps and you're going to feel this.

So I remember having a big opinion about the shows my dad would take me to.
