You have to learn through instruction, not emergence.

You're not born with it.

By age five, you've known what it is to have a fight with your brother and then hug and make up the next morning because you don't hate each other.

And that's what it means for you and someone to disagree but still be on the same team.

You don't, there is no learning that at any point.

So yeah, the ability to lean on people without feeling less than was a big part of it.
