I think it could go up from there depending on how things go.
But at this point, Tom, I would say comfortably kind of in that 15, maybe 16 range.
That's a really good question.
Probably, maybe, because if you look at it from a top-end talent standpoint, let's say Tyron is a โ I don't know what Tyron's number is, so this is me sipping on here.
Let's say Tyron's a $4 million player.
Are you going to find someone in the transport portal right now who is as good as Tyron Stokes is on the wing and get them for $4 million?
I don't know if that player's there, right?
Because if a guy is as good as Tyron is, he's going to the NBA, right?
You could say, okay, what about Momchilovich from Iowa State?
Man, he's probably going to stay in the draft.
And that's the issue you run into in the portal, where guys in the portal have their warts.
Because if they didn't, they'd be going to the NBA.
And that's the issue you run into with this kind of Tyron Stokes recruitment for KU is the fact that they need to get him because he's incredibly talented.
And that money may not be as well spent in the portal as it is going after the number one high school player who could be the number one pick in next year's draft.
At worst is probably a top five pick in next year's draft.
Like that is high end of talent.
And if you watch kind of McDonald's all America game and the people that were there for all the practices, like he's the consensus number one player right now.
And again, it comes back to talent.
are you going to find that in the portal right now if you miss on Tyron Stokes?
