It was very much talked about throughout the course of the season.
KU's guards needed to look for Flory more, and that was something that really happened in the middle of January into early February when KU had its really good period.
And when Florida was really scoring the ball a lot, well, it was because KU's guards were looking for him.
And it's not a situation where you can just say, hey, Florida, go post up your guy, let's get you the ball, and let's have you go to work.
Like, this is not a situation that you're going to do consistently and expect to have consistent results.
especially if you're going against guys like Krivos at Arizona or Vishar at North Carolina.
Like, he just tends to struggle against that.
So it's one of those for Louisville, like, hey, for their scheme and the way that Pat Kelsey wants to play, I can see why you could talk yourself into it working.
I just, again, I go back to the dollar figures, and even if there is no quote-unquote salary cap, right, there's only so much you're going to be able to pay a basketball team.
And I still think that just the number that Florida got is going to be
one that is just maybe โ it's going to be hard to get the exact value that you're putting into that.
15, 16 right now.
And that's the weird thing about this.
I've talked about plenty with our subscribers.
The number changes because let's just say you go get Tyron Stokes for KU.
Well, all of a sudden, it's a lot easier to market Tyron Stokes in terms of actual NIL deals, the above-the-cap stuff, the non-revenue sharing dollars.
It's a lot easier to get Tyron Stokes a deal with Wendy's around town or a deal with
you know, FNBO or whoever, right, rather than a different type of player.
So it's kind of a what comes first, you know, the cart or the horse.
But I think for KU, like, right now I look at kind of 15 and say that's probably where you're targeting right now.
