Sade, welcome to Something You Should Know.
Hi, Mike.
It's great to be here.
So I've always figured that self-doubt has to be an acquired trait, because when you look at children, they have no self-doubt.
I mean, they'll do anything, they'll try anything, they'll talk to anybody.
They don't have any hesitation.
So we must acquire it along the way.
Where does it come from and how does it get acquired?
Right.
Well, we look at how people react to us and talk to us.
And then I guess that helps to shape...
how we think about who we are and what we do and or shouldn't do or can do or can't do.
So is it safe to say that the people who don't have a lot of self-doubt just weren't conditioned that way?
Or is there something else?
