I didn't think about that kind of thing.
So I'd get towards the end of the stage, have a good shot lined up and it'd go click and I'd have to do it or emergency reload.
And every single time that it happened, which wasn't much, but it was more than once.
It pissed me off because I knew that if the bolt hole open was just working properly and the AR told me it was empty because it reacted the way that empty ARs do, I would have had a quick rapid reload and not lost three or four seconds on the stage.
What do you mean, which bad habits?
I didn't mean that you're only allowed to shoot 32 shots.
I mean that each stage is max 32 rounds to complete the stage.
You would have 16 USPSA targets and two rounds on each, or you might have 12 targets and then eight steel targets.
Oh, no worries.
Same.
So yeah, it's highest round count to complete the stage.
Now, some stages are what's called Virginia count, and you're only allowed to shoot a certain number of shots.
And any number of shots lower or higher is also a penalty.
So that's a lot of fun.
But yeah, most of them are called...
which just means, um, best two hits on paper.
So you can have up to 32 rounds max in a stage, but a lot of guys have like 50, 60 round stick mags.
And so they can just go all day and not worry about it.
But I don't, those extenders are super expensive.
Like even just going up to 40 is expensive and it's just not worth it to me.
