How come they can score all the time?

Bones was my coach.

I was not on a team scoring five goals a game because Bones is the coach.

That's not how it worked when he took over.

So I don't know what magic dust he had for that group.

But as soon as he showed up.

Same group, all of a sudden a different team.

Buffalo Sabres, Jarmo Kekulainen shows up, same group, different team.

It's tricky to understand how fickle success can be, but ride it when you can.

And any team that has a goalie named Jet Greaves, I'm cheering for.

Well, I mean, the goaltending.

I mean, it is the obvious.

It's the answer.

It is what's holding them back.

I mean, it is largely just that.

I mean, they've lost two of their last 13 games.

So they're playing well because Allmark's come back from his time away, and we're happy he's gotten himself into a better frame of mind and a place where he can go to work and do his best.

But when they get good goaltending, and his goaltending is not even spectacular.

Like, you look at his numbers since he's come back, his save percentage is 902.

It's not 932.
