It's one of the great it's maybe the greatest baseball fight move of all time.
He knows he's going to get drilled.
He does.
And he immediately just reaches back and puts his cleat right into the catcher's chest guard and knocks him backwards so that the catcher cannot restrain him from charging them out.
What happens after that isn't great.
He kind of runs into the middle of the mound and there's like a it's kind of dissolves pretty quickly.
There have been some feisty moments already in like weeks one and two, though, like Wilson Contreras got hit again by the Brewers.
He's been hit like 100 times by the Brewers and with his brother behind the plate, by the way, which is hilarious.
Yeah.
And and nothing happened.
But he announced in a postgame press conference that if it happened again, he was going to and I quote, take someone out, which is incredibly, incredibly intimidating thing to say.
I mean, I'm glad it happened, if only because the team was two and eight and needed to be woken up desperately.
And I'm hoping that his he's a very intense dude.
I'm hoping that his feistiness can wake the team up a little bit.
But it's got to be Joe Adele.
Like no one's ever done that before.
And the third robbery in that photo from the stand looking back at the field is so iconic.
It's going to be around forever.
Yep.
The funniest thing about it, though, and this is such Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim baseball is.
