At the very, very beginning of what's going to be a long 24 hours of snow, heavy snow at times, and wind gusts over 50 miles an hour.
The Atlantic has churned up quite a bit since yesterday with the increased wind.
By the way, the water temperature here is in the mid-40s.
Down in Buxton and Hatteras, it's in the mid-60s.

We're going to have up to a foot of snow from here.
here in Tulsa, where temperatures Saturday will only be at eight degrees.
That's 40 degrees below average, and the wind chill's 15 below zero.
Up to Cincinnati, Pittsburgh, State College, New York City, Boston, Providence, all those areas getting a lot of snow.
Now, the snow will move into D.C.
Saturday night and into New York City and up the 95 corridor on Sunday morning.
It's all about cold air and the moisture getting together.
And that doesn't happen very often at this latitude.
But tomorrow, for several hours, that will happen.
We'll start with rain this evening with temperatures in the 50s.
Overnight, temperatures continue to cool down as the Arctic front comes in.
