Not perfect, right?
It doesn't mean that if a game doesn't show up on start playing games, that that means it's a dead game or that it's not successful.
But it's one variable, one kind of measure that we can actually get.
So those are the criteria.
Those are mine, right?
I'm not saying those are the end all be all.
My argument is none of us get to choose what criteria exist for what a successful RPG is like.
You get to define what a successful RPG is like.
I get to define what a successful RPG is like.
You get to have what criteria you're going to look at.
I get what criteria I'm going to look at.
The only thing I would argue for is if I'm having a conversation with somebody about what a successful RPG is, and they're bringing up measures that we cannot measure, like internal business things,
that's not helpful, right?
You can't say like it's successful when the PDE ratio of the company reaches a certain, if it's not a publicly traded company without an open PDE ratio, how the hell am I gonna know, right?
How do we know?
So then at that point, you're like, well, then it's a guess.
Well, if you're guessing, I mean, you know, it's successful because I say it is.
I mean, I guess you could do that, right?
But I would say like, how about some actual visible data, something to tell us whether or not something is successful.
And honestly, I don't think you're going to be able to truly figure it out.
