It's things like watching the characters drive.

It's the first step from return is based on that idea because you put the characters first and foremost in your mind.

That one statement, which came from Dungeon World, and there's a whole bunch of principles to game mastering that are inside Dungeon World.

And those principles really changed how I view GMing.

And I think like if they changed me after 20 years of running games at that point,

I think that that's the kind of thing where new people that kind of pick up on those ideas and people that have been running RPGs might be able to get a lot from them.

So dungeon world is one that I would, I would say, but that's not a five ebook.

If you're going to pick a five ebook, I would pick the tales of the valiant game masters guide.

Cause I feel like it has so many different approaches and rules and ideas and guides for how to steer fifth edition in ways.

So many kinds of optional paths for running fifth edition that of the game of the game master advice guides, uh,

For fifth edition in particular, I think the Tales of the Valiant Game Master's Guide has the best practical advice for lots of different things.

Really good encounter building.

I mean, and here's the cheat.

You said none of my books.

It's not really my book, but I was commissioned to write big pieces of it.

So I don't know if that counts or not, but I'm not just saying it because I wrote parts of it.

I really feel like when you look at that book and you look at all the optional stuff, it's got way more optional stuff than the D&D 2024 Dungeon Master's Guide has.

So I think the Tales of the Valiant Game Master's Guide works really well alongside the 2024 Dungeon Master's Guide because it has all of these alternate takes on how to look at things in your 5e games that the core books do not.

So those would be mine.
