So the Mothers of the Missing in Mexico march every Mother's Day. It's an annual event where different kind of collectivos, different groups of these mothers who have made it their life's mission now to find their missing children come together. This year's been a little bit different because in a statement the mothers called on football fans to join them. And this comes just ahead of the FIFA World Cup, which Mexico is co-hosting.

They said there is nothing to celebrate as Mexican mothers play the most difficult match for justice. And they said alongside chanting that Mexico is a champion in disappearances. They marched through the center of Mexico City with banners and slogans with huge pictures and the names of all these people who are missing. Now Mexicans generally are pretty keen on football. Will this march make any difference to how they host the World Cup?

I think the short answer is no. This is an issue which has been getting worse. Disappearances. One public policy group called Mexico Evaluates found that there had been a 200% increase in disappearances over the last decade. And this is due to the growing power of cartels, of organized crime groups. There were more than 130,000 recorded missing people. And that number is something that soared after 2006 when the government launched their

So does this mark the end of the oil blockade by Washington? I asked our global affairs reporter Mimi Swaybi. He said anyway, Cuba is finished, they have a bad regime and a corrupt leadership. So it essentially didn't matter if a boat of oil got through or not.

It's really unclear. I think Cuba will be wanting this oil to continue now from Russia. Russia has made it clear as well, the Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov saying that Russia will continue to work on oil supplies to Cuba and that these supplies to the island were actually raised in its talks with the US. But it is a bit of a grey area which no one seems to have a definite answer for at the moment. So once this...

The idea of one leader being removed and another stepping in is a deceptively simple question. He has, Mr Maduro, a very loyal circle around him. Four key players, one of which is the vice president, Delcio Rodriguez. Another is the minister of internal affairs. He's kind of the second in command.

He will be wanting to maximize and really take advantage of this situation, which is incredibly uncertain. I think the idea that we'll know who will be the next leader of Venezuela is not going to be one which will be immediately answered. This is probably a question and an answer for days ahead. Right now we're seeing police on the streets kind of cascading anybody who's showing any idea of celebrations. We know that there are armed militias, civilians who've been armed under the order of Nicolas Maduro, who are going to be looking for anybody celebrating.

and going against the state of commotion, meaning people have to stay indoors. But the idea that the opposition are going to swoop in and assume power of Venezuela is one which is false. This will be a long, long journey.
