It's the writing that you're enjoying.

There's a poetry to it and that completely goes with the narrative, yeah.

Okay, so she becomes famous.

She then writes a couple of other books.

She writes one called Bitch, which is in praise of difficult women.

She gets $500,000 for it.

During this process, because there's a weird pressure, obviously, once you become famous in that way, there's a weird kind of pressure that's attached to that.

She basically, you know, because she has mental health problems, gets addicted to Ritalin, which is prescribed for ADHD.

In fact, she starts snorting Ritalin.

which reminds me of a select article that we did where I think somebody snorted Feminax and other uppers.

She also becomes, she starts taking Coke.

She starts taking heroin.

It's not, you know, it's not a good time, but she does manage to do this book.

And it's essentially a post-feminist defense of kind of difficult women like, you know, Monica Lewinsky and like lots of different people, actually.

Anyway, she has a tough time.

I mean, to me, but it's because I'm much, much older, I think it's clear that she has addiction problems even in Prozac Nation.

She acknowledges the addiction problems in the end.

She ends up in rehab.

She gets clean.

She's in and out of rehab, to be honest.
