So I remember thinking, this is strange and unusual, but I'm sure it perverted my sensibility of what was normal from an early age.

You know, towards the end of the book, I was out at a restaurant and I saw him at the table and I just wanted to go up to him, but I kind of like punked out and just asked him if he remembered my parents' house.

And the universe gave me a second opportunity.

He walks towards our table going to the toilet.

And I'm like, Mr. Williams, I know this is so crazy and there's no way that you'll remember this, but I remember my earliest childhood memories of you coming into my room like as a kid.

And he like stops for a second.
