We weren't very close.
I left home at 15 and so we weren't really super close.
I just tried to get away from anything that had to do with my family.
But when our dad was dying, he's Indian and he was dying in India and we both had to go to India for six weeks.
That was 20 years ago this year.
But it was from being there with him that brought us.
We've been inseparable since.
We just had to stick together.
We were on our own.
Our dad was dying and we just became so close to each other.

Our parents played us against each other.
And so there was always a bit of between us.
There was love, you know, but there was this.
And I think it just took a long time and us getting to know each other away from family.
And as adults as well.
