Ultimately, if you believe what you believe, you can't be undermined by rhetoric.
You can only be undermined by arguments, right?
And I think that's a really good strategy because you don't want to appear two-faced, right?
And you do mean what you say.
get really lost in trying to speak the way that your audience wants to hear.
Or you do need to say things that your audience is capable of understanding, is capable of processing, or it is possible to go too far and turn things off.
But I think ultimately you're right that the priority should just be, this is what I believe.
